Android Headlines : Android smartphones have been a slab with a display for a long time, if not since the advent of the smartphone with the iPhone back in 2007, followed by Google and HTC’s G1, or Dream if you know it that way. But, there have been a few instances, some distant and some much more recent, coming from the larger manufacturers like Samsung and LG. Samsung’s Galaxy Golden, and Hennessy have never seen release outside of South Korea, while LG’s Ice Cream Smart and Wine Smart looked, earlier this summer, to be preparing for a launch in a country outside the manufacturer’s home nation of South Korea though. But Xiaomi might be the next manufacturer to launch a clamshell-style Android device, and possibly soon.
