This is no is true, no moreso, than of the new iPhone 6s, with legions of Apple lovers doing cartwheels for 3D Touch and Live Photos, but letting out woeful sighs at the shoddiness of the battery life. And apparently, it all depends on whether your battery's processor chip was made by Samsung or TSMC (if the chip was made by TSMC, you could squeeze an extra 2 hour's usage out of the battery).
