AppsZoom : SwiftKey is aiming to help non-verbal individuals, particularly kids with autism and other special needs, to communicate with friends and family via their mobile.
The predictive smartphone keyboard company has just launched SwiftKey Symbols, a symbol-based assistive communication Android app which allows its users to construct sentences using a series of images rather than words.
It's driven by the same prediction engine that powers SwiftKey's popular keyboard app, but specially designed for (but not limited to) young, non-verbal individuals with special needs.
