Tehelka : Google chief executive officer Sundar Pichai, who is visiting India, has announced a slew of measures, including partnering with Indian Railways to improve web connectivity for providing Wi-Fi to users at railway stations.
This is the world’s biggest public Wi-Fi project and even as we speak, work is on to provide Wi-Fi at Mumbai Central, he said. Once people have access to web, we want to make sure they get right information. The project will be operational in January.”
