App Advice : Google has just updated Snapseed, the popular photo-editing app it acquired in September 2012, to version 2.2 with optimized support for Apple’s latest iOS devices.Released on iOS back in June 2011, Snapseed offers photo-editing capabilities comparable to professional software normally supported on desktop.
Just this April, it was updated to version 2.0 with stacks for re-editing images, support for copying edits from one image to another, new filters, brush tools, a spot repair function, and perspective adjustment.
Then, just last month, it was updated to version 2.1 with some navigation enhancements, including a new image picker offering quick access to the camera roll, app state preservation across sessions, and more.
