Out Law : Dr Nithin Thomas, co-founder and chief executive of cyber security provider SQR Systems, told Out-Law.com that the development of cyber security standards would help "vendors produce products that make it easy" for companies to meet the requirements of new EU data protection laws.
He said there is "a lot of scope for innovation" in the development of new technologies that can help with compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation through an open standards initiative.
