The Mobile Indian : Panasonic India has launched its rugged wearable camera, named as HX-A1. The camera weighs approximately 45 grams and can record full HD videos. As per the company, the rugged machine is waterproof to 1.5m and shockproof to 1.5m, dustproof and even freezeproof down to minus 10 degrees C.
The 3.54 megapixels camera has a 1/3" MOS sensor and comes with a F2.8 aperture. Note that it is a fixed focus camera. The Panasonic HX-A1 has a 0 Lux Night Mode for recording no-light japes. The camera also has IR filter (night mode) and can be used with an infrared light source. It also features loop recording which, while recording longer videos, retains the most recent hour of scenes by erasing earlier scenes. The camera keeps recording seamlessly, by managing video in two-minute segments.
