The UnoSWU is a switchable power socket that can be used to turn on/off machines, hardware etc. connected to the grid. The socket is switched on by applying a low (>3V) voltage to the UnoSWU. Additionally, a USB power supply is embedded in the socket to potentially power the system that switches the UnoSWU. This way is is e. g. very easy to build a WIFI enabled plug. UnoSWU is a great actuator for the IoT.
