TimesOfIndia : Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has launched a 60-inch 4K television Mi TV 3.
The television, priced at 4,999 yuan ($785 or Rs 50,000 approximately), has a 60-inch panel, which has been sourced from LG. Successor to the company's Mi TV 2, the new MiTV is the third smart TV from Xiaomi.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun told the media that the company has worked with suppliers over the last three years to lower manufacturing costs.
Mi TV 3 sports an aluminium frame and a metal backplate. The display, which is mere 36.7mm at its thickest point, has an NTSC colour gamut of 85% and MEMC motion compression. It is powered by MStar 6A928 chipr comprising Cortex-A17 CPU and Mali T760 GPU.
